Change: Starts With Me

All people change for a reason. Some people change from bad to good or vice versa. Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening around us, or to participate and lead it.
Most people who say they don’t like change mean they don’t like when it happens to them, but they don’t mind if they are the ones initiating the change. Those with a growth mindset see difficult problems as challenges to be solved, embracing them with enthusiasm and determination. Those with a fixed mindset see difficult problems as a pain in the butt and tend to give up before they start.  Those with a growth mindset welcome change while those with a fixed mindset resist it.
We can lead change and make our world a better place if we start with ourselves. Learning to become a better spouse, parent, businessperson, leader, salesperson, philanthropist, coach and volunteer will enable me to contribute more to my family, my community, and my industry. By inviting positive change into my life, by initiating change, I might be able to positively influence others.
But that’s a choice they have to make.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Like many other social problems, Gender Equality happens across the board in American society. This is issue is known to have a negative impact.
Gender equality is “achieved when women and men enjoy the same rights and opportunities across all sectors of society, including economic participation and decision-making, and when the different behaviours, aspirations and needs of women and men are equally valued and favoured.
We, human beings, have formed a society based on certain rules that govern our actions and behavior. We share mutual resources and while building up our lives we commit innumerate amount of decisions everyday that lead us to differing paths.

Essence of Christmas

It's December again. The last month of every year when Christmas is celebrated. Christmas is celebrated on the 25th December every year. On the 1st December advent begins, this is the time leading up to Christmas day, Jesus' birthday. It is very important because this is when God came to Earth in human form as Jesus.
At Christmas, we are expected to spare time to contemplate on things eternal. That is, we must remind ourselves that we are strangers her on earth; that our real home is in heaven. And that no matter how long we live, we shall sure die one day.
The essence of Christmas is all about family, love, and generosity.
